Spot the Spelling Mistake
Did you notice there was no deliberate spelling mistake in last weeks printed newsletter! However for the chance of winning a £2.00 book token, see if you can spot the mistake in this week’s printed news. Remember, the mistake is not in the piece of Big Writing. Answers by return of the tear off slip!

5R Class Assembly
We just loved your ‘Magdalen’ assembly this morning 5R! You entertained us with the story of your school trip and you certainly seemed to have a fantastic time. The whether didn’t seem to dampen your spirits and it was huge smiles all round. Well done everyone and a very big thank you to Mr. Ramsey, Mrs. Georgiou and Mrs. Pugh for your work with all of 5R.

Litter
Thank you to everyone (children and parents) who help to keep our school site looking clean and tidy, by placing litter in the bins provided. If you see someone dropping litter, please ask them if they could pick it up. Thank you.

Sports Clubs – Safeguarding
Occasionally, local sports clubs will ask us to distribute leaflets advertising their services. We often oblige and see this as a service that some parents may be interested in. It is important to note that we usually have no link with the club. We therefore advise parents to seek assurances from the club about their safeguarding/child protection policy and practice before enrolling their children.

Parking Issues
Unfortunately I have to report that the police were called to an incident last Friday when one of our parents refused to move their car while blocking the driveway of one of our neighbours. The police have now written to us and have asked us to display the following notice. Please do not obstruct the school entrances or driveways – it is an offence!
